Hey, congrats on the daily writing. Foggy writing is awesome too. You're making progress, so please, don't forget to give yourself credit for that. It's too easy to beat yourself up for not keep the pace, but you are moving. and much like the physical marathon you are practicing for, writing a book is your non-physical marathon. So take your time and make it the best it can be.
Re/The Walking Dead, I highly recommend Already Dead by Charlie Houston, a vampire/zombie/crime novel with a gripping voice. I've read it half a dozen times and have taught it several times in different classes. My students loved it.
