First and foremost, the story.

Stories have power.

Tales & Treasure is an epic fantasy with a classical feel enhanced by a modern voice.

A disgraced bard searches for a story to restore his name. He finds one in the hands of a deserted army scout who is tasked with finding a legendary crown to turn the tide of the war. Together, they journey through Emre, searching for answers in a land fraught with monsters, bandits, curses, and secrets.

Secondly, I’ll be honest, the traditional publishing route has not gone well. 65 agent rejections and counting. Maybe I don’t know how to write a query letter, or maybe the story is too long for a first novel (125,000 words). Either way, I think I have a story worth telling, especially for anyone who likes traditional fantasy adventures and character-driven novels.

Subscribe to read Tales & Treasure for free, as well as short stories and future serials.

Paid subscribers will get posts showcasing my writing and editing process, Q&A sessions, bonus short stories set in the same world, and more (maybe some audio, who knows).
