It’s been a crazy month trying to get Tales & Treasure ready for publication, and in that time, a handful of new people dropped by this little corner of the internet. It’s remarkable to see this community grow. The support you’ve given me has been tremendously uplifting.
I put together this guide to help the new folks find their footing in the world of Emre. The best place to begin is Tales & Treasure Chapter 1. It’s the piece that started it all. The first draft was finished in December 2019 and it’s come a long way since then.
You can read it here:
You can read the whole book for free on Substack, or you can order the ebook or paperback from Amazon or your favorite online retailer.
But, maybe you’ve read Tales & Treasure, or maybe you want to start with something shorter. This could be a good place for you.
Graham is inspired to travel the world after hearing Vatis-of-the-Road. He stops in Barnwood to listen to a different bard tell a folklore story about the Hunter’s Moon. It is a great introduction to the world as a whole.
If bards aren’t your thing (I hope that’s not the case; there’s a lot of bard-related content. Someone has to tell the Stories of Emre.) Anyway, maybe mysterious men with magical powers are more your speed.
This short story started with a simple premise–how do those witches living in a bog have jars and jars of exotic ingredients for their potions? Omarian Lightfoot, the Procurement Specialist, that’s how.
There are more short stories under the Stories of Emre tab.
Perhaps you’re looking for a brand-new serial. I just started A Pact of Thieves. It’s about the founding of The Pact and their efforts to overthrow a tyrannical king. There will be weekly installments from 3 unique POVs. (I know I don’t have one this week, but I’ll get into the groove once my novel is officially published. I bit off a little more than I could chew.)
However you stumbled across this page, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your support, for your encouragement, and for reading my stories.
